International projects

Contragent 35 participated successfully in several projects for electrification and upgrading of the national railway infrastructure. The projects are financed by ISPA, European operational program “Transport” and Cohesion fund.As a subcontractor of the Italian construction consortium ASTALDI S.p.a and the Czech company OHL ŽS and in cooperation with the world leaders Siemens, Thales and Alcatel Lucent, Contragent 35 completed the design, delivery, installations, testing and commissioning of the subprojects on the railway Plovdiv – Svilengrad – Turkish border in the sector Parvomay - Dimitrovgrad. Among the completed activities are: power supply from catenary, lighting of the platforms and turnout areas, heating of the turnouts, electrification of the pedestrian underpasses and pump rooms in stations Karadjalovo and Yabalkovo and halts Skobelevo, Stalevo and Krum.

Another successful project is the building of Basic Sectional Posts (BSP) in Yabalkovo station and on the Bulgarian-Turkish border. There were implemented automatic remote control and signaling of the sectional posts and connection to SCADA system for control from the central control center in Plovdiv as well as remote measuring of the consumed energy from Bulgaria and from Turkey. Contragent 35 is the main supplier for all silicone polymer insulators for the reconstruction of the catenary on the railway Plovdiv – Burgas. New insulators were designed and produced, resistant to high pollution and salt fog, according to the specific requirements for installations near the Black Sea coast.  Contragent 35 continues to work on the next phases of the projects: railway Plovdiv – Svilengrad in the sections Dimitrovgrad – Harmanli and Harmanli – Svilengrad, railway Plovdiv – Burgas, railway Septemvri – Plovdiv and others.
