Surge arresters

Surge arresters provide primary protection against voltage surges caused by external agents or by disturbances in the transmission system, such as: opening and closing of switches, earth faults, mishandling of equipment etc. If these surges exceed the insulation level, the equipment will be damaged. Surge arresters limit these surges to a safety level. Housing is produced of silicon rubber and surge arresters are suitable for indoor and outdoor application, resistant to ageing, pollution and UV resistible, maintenance free, stable against shock and vibrations.

Surge arresters are certified in compliance with the IEC 60099-4 (2014) standard. Furthermore, we are also in a position to offer surge arresters in compliance with the ANSI/IEEE C.62 11 standard.
